The goal is not simply to produce one faster lap. It is to deepen your understanding of technique so you can adapt across different cars, circuits and conditions.

Before you enquire.
Everything is organised around making the session focused and straightforward.
What do I need to prepare?
You need a PC running one of the supported simulators, a stable internet connection, Discord, working audio and any suitable microphone. A dedicated headset is not required. Console sessions are not currently supported. Share the car, circuit and goals in your enquiry; Calan will host the server and organise the session.
Should I drive before the session?
Approximately 30 minutes of familiarisation in the chosen car and circuit is recommended so you can begin the session productively, but it is not mandatory.
How is the session run?
Communication takes place through Discord while you drive, review replays and analyse telemetry together. Calan can join and spectate inside the simulator, use Discord screen sharing, or combine both methods depending on what is most useful.
Do I need telemetry software ready?
No prior telemetry setup or experience is required. Calan will guide you through the appropriate telemetry setup during the session.
How many cars and circuits can we cover?
A session will typically focus on one car and one circuit so there is enough time for detailed, useful development. Reasonable adjustments can be made where appropriate.
What happens if there is a technical problem?
Connection, simulator and other technical issues are assessed case by case. Best endeavours will be made to adapt the session so you still receive the value you reasonably expected.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, you can choose either a refund or a rescheduled session. Requests made with less notice are assessed case by case, with best endeavours made to arrange another suitable time. If you do not attend and provide no notice, the session is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Will I receive a recording?
A recording or written follow-up is not normally included. The service is built around live, interactive development.
Can I book immediately?
New clients should enquire first. After the initial enquiry, future sessions can be booked directly through Calendly.
Where is remote coaching available?
Remote simulator coaching is available worldwide, subject to finding a suitable session time.
Can drivers under 18 take part?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must make the booking, accept the terms and provide consent. They must remain present at the home and reasonably available throughout the session, but do not need to sit beside the driver unless safeguarding circumstances require it. Direct communications will go through the guardian or include them.
Are results guaranteed?
No particular lap-time improvement, race result or career outcome can be guaranteed. Coaching provides professional analysis and guidance, and will be delivered with reasonable care and skill.
Can I share coaching materials?
Any notes, recordings or other materials supplied by CW Driver Development are for your personal use. Publishing them or sharing them publicly requires prior permission.
