How CW Driver Development creates, reviews, updates and corrects its educational content.

Last reviewed: 3 October 2026

Who creates the content

Driving technique, telemetry, racecraft and coaching content published by CW Driver Development is written or technically reviewed by Calan Williams. Author and review information is shown on substantive guides where relevant.

How claims are supported

Articles draw on Calan’s professional driving and coaching experience. Where a claim depends on an external record, rule or published technical source, the aim is to link to a primary or authoritative source. Personal coaching heuristics are identified as guidance rather than universal rules.

Vehicle behaviour varies with the car, tyre, circuit, weather, simulator, setup and driver. Educational content is therefore presented with context and is not a promise of a particular lap-time or racing result.

Reviews and updates

Material changes are reflected in a reviewed or modified date. Service prices, availability, career details and time-sensitive claims are reviewed when the underlying information changes. Minor spelling or formatting corrections may not receive a separate change note.

Corrections

If you believe a page contains an error or lacks important context, email calan@cwdriverdev.com with the page URL, the passage concerned and the evidence supporting the correction. Substantive corrections will be reviewed and the page updated where appropriate.

Commercial independence

Educational pages may link to CW Driver Development coaching services when they are relevant to the subject. A commercial link does not change the technical standard applied to the article. Any future paid partnership or supplied product that materially influences a page will be disclosed clearly.
